What started as a single recycling project for the father and son team, Ryan and Owen, turned into an entire company—Ridwell. It’s an at-your-door-step solution to get rid of things the right way and recycle for real. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Ridwell to make recycling our cereal bags easy and accessible for everyone!
In 2024, we proudly launched a recycling partnership with Ridwell, making it possible to recycle our bags for the first time ever. This service was exclusive to the handful of cities participating in the program. You can now completely recycle our packaging with Ridwell wherever you live. FOR REAL! It's as simple as buying a $2 Recycling Bag from our website. Fill it up, and drop it off at your local post office. Yup! It’s that easy.
This bag holds up to 75 Seven Sunday cereal bags (a year's worth). But that’s not all you can recycle! Any multi-layer plastic food bags can be recycled in this bag. See the full list of items here or check out Ridwell’s app: Sortwell. It’s as easy as taking a picture of the material and getting real-time sorting information.
All Seven Sundays Recycling Bags come with a prepaid shipping label. (Shipping is on us!) All you need to do is seal it up, and drop it off at the post office.
After you activate your Recycling Bag with Ridwell, you can see exactly where your bags end up. And it’s not headed to a landfill. Nope. Our cereal bags are recycled into a drainage solution that replaces PVC pipe made from 100% recycled materials. Here’s to building a better breakfast!
Nope, it'll make it to a Ridwell recycling center whether you activate it or not. By activating your bag, you can see exactly where your Seven Sundays bags go. From there, you have the option start a Ridwell Express subscription where you can recycle even more items. You can always buy another bag from us. To activate your Recycle Bag, scan the QR code on the bag or visit get.ridwell.com/sundays.
